Saša Petricic is a photographer with an eye for images that impart the human condition, the world over.

He is also an award-winning correspondent and photojournalist for CBC News. A native of Toronto and Belgrade, he has spent decades traveling the globe, bringing compelling stories home to Canadians from every continent – in pictures and words, capturing colours and emotions.

From postings in Jerusalem and Beijing, Saša has covered wars in Syria, Gaza and Afghanistan, as well as earthquakes, typhoons and uprisings from Hong Kong to Haiti. He’s had rare insight into North Korea and Antarctica.
